And again, but louder this time, July 2022 (Northern school of Contemporary Dance graduation piece)

‘And again, but louder this time’, is a structured improvisation. Each night the dancers perform a different interpretation of the choreographic score. Sikorski has asked the dancers to practice performing together, to bridge the gap in feeling between what is familiar and what is unknown. Can we dance together without knowing what comes next? What if we think of choreography as a simple refrain that can be sung in many different ways, in many different keys by many different voices, at our leisure over and over again, until something new happens?
